How the method works

The etchant is extracted from the board surface immediately after spraying, so creating

space for fresh etchant to be applied. No puddles are able to form as with convention modules, meaning an end to copper residues.
An extraction pipe is mounted between each of the spray manifolds.
This extracts the surplus etchant from the surface and returns it for recirculation.
Venturi nozzles in the pressure pipe of a separate circuit create the required vacuum.
Air suctioned from inside the system alongside the etchant causes no problems.
As a result of interruption of the conveyerguidance system, spray shadows are effectively avoided. The complete process is controlled electronically.

Intelligent maintenance concept

The system is designed to permit simple dismantling without the use of tools. The extraction pipe can be taken out individually. The lid does not need to be opened. The ventilation system can remain operational and vapours are hardly released.
This means only a minimal interruption of the etching process and consequently high productivity.
